Friday night we welcome the Royal Jazz Society Orchestra to kick off the Sacramento Lindy Exchange.
Drawing inspiration from the great bands, performers and composers of the "Jazz Age" and "Swing Era," Don Neely and the Royal Society Jazz Orchestra affectionately and authentically recapture the excitement and fascination of that musical heyday. Guided by their affinity for the superb music and innovation of the greats, the Royal Society Jazz Orchestra has captivated audiences all across the country. They're bringing us their best swing dance music and they will knock your socks off.
Friday night will be $12 at the door. Midtown Stomp is located at the Eastern Star Ballroom at 2719 K Street in Midtown Sacramento.
Friday Late Night - 12:30am-4am
Spotlight Dance and Fitnes is a great location for late night dancing! Located at 2534 Industrial Blvd. (Suite 150) in West Sacramento, the huge studio floor and multiple rooms allow us to offer different styles of music and dancing late into the night.
This DJ'd late night event will be only $10 at the door and go from 12:30-4am
Saturday Daytime - Noon-3pm
We’ve had a great time at the Stoney Inn in our past exchanges and we’ll return for Saturday afternoon. Located in the heart of Sacramento Uptown Arts District this will be a great way to kick back, relax, have a drink and of course DANCE! Stoney Inn has a kitchen with standard bar and grille faire like hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and fries, so enjoy lunch while dancing.
$5 cover charge for those without an all-events pass

This is a great group of talented and experienced musicians who play Duke Ellington inspired style of music. Since having made their debut playing at Midtown Stomp in 2010, they have quickly become a favorite of the Sacramento Swing Scene drawing raucous crowds of Lindy Hoppers to dance to their incredible music.
