Sacramento Lindy Exchange - March 20-22nd, 2009!
The Sacramento Lindy Exchange is back for its 6th year and better than ever!
Held each March the Sacramento Lindy Exchange has a proud tradition as one of the best Lindy Hop events in Northern California with its line up of great bands that rarely play in Northern California as well as local bands that just make you want to swing out! This year is no exception.
Join us March 20th – 22nd for a weekend of amazing music and dancing as we bring back Jonathan Stout’s Campus Five featuring Hillary Alexander to headline the exchange on Saturday night. Last year the Campus Five absolutely tore the roof off the exchange so don’t miss out! We’ve also booked one of Sacramento’s favorite local bands “Dr. Bach and the Jazz Practitioners” to play Friday night.
Both Friday and Saturday nights evening dances are held in the beautiful Eastern Star Ballroom built in the 1920s featuring a 6000 square foot dance floor that is sprung and very fast. You’ll have plenty of room to dance the night away!
