Sacramento Lindy Exchange - March 14-16th, 2008!

Midtown Stomp proudly brings to you the Sacramento Lindy Exchange, 2008!
The Sacramento Lindy Exchange each year has strived to be the biggest Lindy Hop event Sacramento has ever thrown! We've drawn people from all over the world. We're very excited about this year's live band line-up and we're proud to introduce Jonathan Stout's Campus Five! This great band from LA plays a variety of tempos and music and will be the headliner for our Saturday night dance. The Jelly Roll Souls are the hottest new band in the bay area and we love them and look forward to sharing them with you!
All of our main dancing and late night event locations are HUGE (6000+ sq ft) and well ventilated. We promise plenty of room to dance and fresh air! The main venue for Friday and Saturday nights is the new home of Midtown Stomp, and is a beautiful vintage ballroom from the 1920's.
We're also excited to announce the lowest pricing in years! The entire weekend from Friday to Sunday is only $55 if you register early. We're offering more dancing on Wednesday, Thursday and Monday so come early and stay late!
Don't know what an exchange is? A Lindy Hop exchange is a gathering of dancers from all over the world. It's a great way to dance with new people and exchange different styles. The purpose of the weekend is social with no workshop classes or distractions from dancing, having fun and meeting new people from all over the country and the world. We hope you can join us!
You do not need to register for the entire weekend. If you can only attend at certain times, the schedule and pricing are available here. We'll be dancing from the early afternoon until 4am from Friday until Sunday, so there's plenty of time to come find us!
